London’s stylish Design Museum was chosen as the venue to launch the new Peroni Nastro Azzurro advertising campaign.

The Design Museum sits on the south bank of the Thames, near Tower Bridge. Guests were transported down the river on Peroni-branded launches. On arrival, they were welcomed by stilt walkers, fire jugglers and other colourful entertainers, while the new cinema commercial was projected onto the outside of the museum.

The highlight of the evening was the presence of Anita Ekberg, star of Fellini’s original film ‘La Dolce Vita’. She accompanied Landi Swanepoel, lead in the film’s remake, while pop group The Babys performed their track from the commercial, a remake of ‘Baby It’s you’ by the Shirelles.

Without doubt, everyone enjoyed a party in true Italian style. For us, the biggest challenge of the night was only having half an hour to set up a spectacle memorable enough to impress over 600 guests.
