Amanda Thomas walked into The Bank with several years experience managing Chicken Cottage, nationwide. Devastatingly for her, she’s never lost her love for chicken. It seems she sees it all around her in the form of us fellow Bankers. We are indeed all her ‘Chickens’. If we were to nickname her it would probably be ‘Mother Hen’. Amanda is actually our amazing Office Manager and we’d be nowhere without her. A self-confessed, hater-of-moving, she’s managed to move us twice in two years with a minimum of fuss. In other displays of Motherly Hen affection she dishes out tough love and will tackle anything and anyone. After a hard day in the office running after all of us, Amanda unwinds by teaching others to meditate. No doubt she squishes in a bit of hard earned meditation for herself.
